Hey everybody! I try and pray this simple prayer most evenings especially with my family. “Lord help me to love you more tomorrow than I loved you today.,” or “Lord help us to love you more tomorrow than we did today”.
You know there's all this talk in the business world about getting one percent better. Just one percent better every day or every week or every month compounded can yield incredible results over time. Well what if we ask for that grace in our spiritual lives? “Lord help me to love you one percent more tomorrow than I did today”. Compounded over time our love for God only grows.
See friends it's not about waking up tomorrow morning and becoming Padre Pio or Mother Teresa. It's about being available to receive just a little bit more of the graces God desires to give us. One being to love Him more. That's it. That's how God sanctifies us. “Lord help us to love you more tomorrow than we did today”.
