Deacon Rick Broderick was born in northern New Jersey and went to Belmont Abbey college in North Carolina where he met his wife, Mary. They have been married for 40 years and have two adult children who both live in the area. Rick started his diaconate studies while attending Holy Name of Jesus, where he also served as Grand Knight and Deputy Chair of the Parish Council. Rick was ordained a deacon on September 29, 2018. Recently he retired from a long career in Risk Management and he and Mary moved back to the area to be close to their children and some special friends.
