Bryan Gent was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He earned a double major bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Creative Writing from the University of South Florida, and a master's degree in Theology from the University of Scranton. He completed an S.T.B while studying in a doctoral program in Systematic Theology at Regis College at the University of Toronto. His theological focus is in the thought of Bernard Lonergan, S.J., theological method, and hermeneutics.
Bryan has taught theology and philosophy at Melbourne Central Catholic High School for the past eight years where he is currently the director of campus ministry. He lives in Melbourne, FL with his wife and 4 children.
